Nepal Drum Circle Fundraiser

A big thank you to all those that have donated, supported or came along and drummed for this fundraiser. I have heard from my sister in law working in Nepal. She has sent some photographs of the work being done out there and to which some of your money has gone towards. Below is some feedback regarding the money :

” Perched in the remote, but picturesque village of Ramche, Mastana VDC 3, in the Kaski District, Shree Bishwa Jyoti Primary School unfortunately was one of the many earthquake damaged schools in the area.
EWN/3 Sisters Adventure team was proud to collaborate and support the school by facilitating the building of three temporary learning shelters. In addition donating much needed classroom supplies, sports and education materials.
Old, young, men, women and children were all there to help build their school along with our team. It was truly a community effort and it gives us immense joy to be a part of it! Thank you to our donors who made it possible for our village children to return to their school and for them to stay safe and dry from the heavy monsoon rain ”

Below are some pictures of the building process.

Another update on where we also made a contribution is below :

” The villages of Sindhupalchowk; Gaati VDC ward no. 2, 3 & 8, Maaneswara VDC ward no. 3, 5 & 9 and Dhumyang VDC ward no. 4 which had total 120 families living in them are totally destroyed.  AHH provided 40 wooden beds, 2 water tanks (500 Litres), soaps, toothpastes and stationary enough for 34 students. It will be difficult for them to return to their villages for the next 5 months so they will need enough food materials and medical supplies. So this is our next project to help them have these supplies as there are many post delivery mothers and students ”

A huge thank you to you all for all your efforts and for the money we raised as you can see we have made a valuable conribution and a small amount of money goes along way.

All the best Ray.
